The Universe must have taken its origin from a very low state of entropy or - in other words - from a very high state of order.
This allowed an uninterrupted series of transformations that have been going on for 13.8 billion years.
The passing of time, from our point of view, is nothing but this: a continuous passage from ordered configurations to other less ordered specific configurations.
