The order that makes a present territory share an identity with that of its past is rhythmical, even chronological. However, this diference does not evolve in accordance with chronological measures, rather, it brings with it recurrent chronic ruptures with processes of resingularisation in its wake. This way, the territory also becomes a veritable individual, a unique moment in time and space, diferent from other similar territories of the same sort, but also different from itself as it was before. Similarity and diference are co-produced simultaneously.
