Theophany (n.)

From the Greek theos "god" and phanein "bring to light, cause to appear, show".

A theophany is the appearance or manifestation of the divine in the physical taking a sensible form. When a theophany happens, the invisible force(s) governing the physical realm become reified. It induces a change of perception between the first encounter and the moment of disappearing.
