By whom can this opposition be overcome? Certainly not by Dionysus, who has no reason to do so. Dionysus wants what is distinct to remain obscure. He sees no reason and no advantage in it. The idea of a reconciliation is unbearable to Dionysus. The clear and distinct is just as unbearable.
