To give a player the freedom to decide, is to take it away from the Character you play, but who cares about a fictional being? In our Game Experience, players are given the mundane task to drive down a road and fulfill the job of our taxi driver Justine. Doing so is possible, but we expect players to test out the limits of their play, maybe they are motivated by the slow pace of the boring town they found themselves in, maybe because Justine's monologues are annoying them. Ultimately it is possible to crash the car into specific moving vehicles or objects. By doing so they are ported into what we call the Sadist Realm. A drivable environment designed around breaking privacy, shame and hurting others. The task of driving from A to B vanishes, instead players should be motivated to explore the new environment, while our Character Justine begs them to stop.
